After attending an Open Talent Workshop held in Manchester, we returned to Cork full of ideas and insperation.
Residents and staff enjoyed a great day out fishing. Everyone was a bit apprehensive about the weather. However, it turned out to be a lovely day with calm seas as the boat left Crosshaven for some deep sea fishing about 15 miles off the coast.
The Foyer’s good design principles and quality fixtures, fittings and equipment are key elements when combining a professional development environment, a comfortable home for young people and their visitors, and a provision that will attract local community groups to use the facilities. A highly motivated staff team , complemented by an excellent working and living environment instantly reflect the mission of achieving success and provide residents and staff with an environment in which they can take pride.
The Foyer provides a stimulating and supportive environment where positive developments are encouraged both personally and academically, equipping young adults with the skills needed to progress from dependence to independence. We strive to develop independent living skills through integrated training programmes and clear cut Support Plans, empowering young adults to realise their full potential and take their rightful place in the community.
