Residents need to provide their own bedding, cutlery, pots and pans. If successful applicants do not have any of these items, we strongly advise them to speak to their Welfare Officer who should be able to help them.

Residents are issued with their own room key, electronic door fob and post box so they can come and go from the Foyer as they wish.

External Area

The Foyer is set in large grounds providing ample car parking facilities and a perfect venue to hold small community events. Resident car owners are issued a car parking slot. At the rear of the Foyer is a large toddler play park and seating area which is an ideal place to visit with any visiting family members.

Use of Office Facilities

At the discretion of the duty staff member, the Foyer will allow residents 24 hour access to the use of its office equipment and facilities, if it helps towards a resident’s personal development. The facilities include: photocopier, laminator, laptop computer, printer, camera, video camera, telephone and limited stationery.

All residents are expected to sign up to a Licence Agreement (contract) between the Foyer and the resident. The Licence operates for a period of six months subject to the resident’s ability to live within the stipulations of the Licence Agreement and Codes of Behaviour which is continually monitored and reviewed.

During the induction period, residents will receive a handbook with lots of useful information that will help them settle in faster and understand the Foyer and its ethos.
