The five aside ‘Street Soccer League’ started again on the 2nd February 2009 with six teams entering in total. The Foyer was able to field all its regular weekly players to great effect, remaining unbeaten throughout phase one of the competition and eventually coming top in the league. The Foyer also used the competition to unveil its first soccer strip and would like to give a big thank you to John Buckley Sports for reducing the cost of the shirts. It was clear to see the commitment of the Foyer team players who get together every week. The team are now flying with confidence and don’t intend handing back the well earned trophy. “Well done lads”

More News: Two players including Daniel have been invited to attend a training camp in Limerick on Friday 15th May 2009. The selected players will go on to represent Ireland in the Street Soccer World Cup in Milan.  “Best of luck from the rest of the team and the Foyer”
